Fatherhood²: Treat Your Mum – it’s Competition Time!

Posted on March 23, 2014January 7, 2018 by Henry Elliss

Even though they love us dads too, the team over at sk:n clinics asked if I wanted to run a competition for Mother’s Day – and who am I to turn down cool competitions? Especially when it means one lucky winner can win almost £100-worth of skin-care products for the lovely mum in his or her life.

After all, us children can be a real handful for our parents, at least for the first 18-or-so years (or in some cases, lots more!) – so you’ve got to give them a treat every now and then, right? I know I’m certainly going to expect it when my kids are old enough!

The prize bundle can be seen below (click to make it bigger – isn’t the internet magic eh?!) and includes the following:

A Facial Exfoliating Cleanser for normal skin
A Vitamin-rich Cleanser for normal or combination skin
Anti-ageing Hand Cream
Anti-Ageing, Age-delaying Cream for Younger Skin

Stick that lot on your extremities and I expect you’ll be feeling younger in weeks – maybe even days (note: I have no idea how these things work, so best to check their website if you want more details and the PROPER descriptions!)

It’s easy-peasy to enter, too – just follow the instructions below. Good luck!

As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I want As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I wanted to give a shout-out to all the farmers in the local area, especially Brimpton’s own @mbowden1954. One of my favourite aspects of living where we do now is being surrounded by countryside and farm land - and being able to see an actively-farmed field at the end of our garden. Every time something’s being done to the field I’m out with my camera, usually trying to figure out the names of all the machinery - and it’s so nice to see a product being grown right from seed to harvest. I know it’s not easy for farmers at the moment, and I dearly hope ours are able to keep farming for many years to come - so if you have one near you, make sure to show them all the support you can!
