Posted on May 18, 2022May 18, 2022 by Henry Elliss

Visiting London with the kids and you are looking for the best venues to take them? Look no further. Below you’ll find the best places to keep the little ones entertained during your holidays in London. These places are verified and have provided tons of kids with amazing memories and lots of fun moments, so give them a try!

Visit the World of Harry Potter

London is a good destination for movie locations. If you are traveling to London with children, we recommend you enjoy the experience that includes a tour of the studios where Harry Potter was filmed. It is a tour that lasts about 7 hours (with transportation included in the price) and that will allow children to delve into the heart of the saga of the wizard Potter. Here you can find detailed information about this tour.

Tour in a Convertible Vintage Bus

If you are traveling with children to London, you probably do not have a great deal of freedom and mobility, so choosing to get to know the city through the tourist bus can be a wonderful idea so that everything goes well. We recommend this option in a convertible vintage bus to observe the city without glass in between. In addition, many of the fun guides who make the route more entertaining and unforgettable are cool. Find more information at this link.

Coca-Cola London Eye and 4D Experience

This is another experience that fascinates the little ones in London. The London Eye draws attention from below but when you actually get on it, the sensations are much more intense than you could have imagined. The little ones freak out when contemplating the immense city from above; In addition, the 4D experience will allow them to enjoy the visit even more by viewing virtual images as if they were there. You can get more information here.

Plonk Crazy Golf in London Fields

Another great place to take the children in London during your holidays there is the crazy golf venue of Plonk Golf at London Fields, where alongside the little ones you can try your hand at some crazy mini-golf. Besides the challenge and fun, it’s also a great place to relax after walking around a lot.

Amusement Parks in London

London is not famous for its attractions, but it does have some interesting parks. Also, in some neighborhoods, if you are lucky, you can experience the traveling fairs that go with some small attractions and where the little ones can have a great time.

Thorpe Park

This is the most famous park in the UK that has been divided into several themes. The most striking thing about this place is its creepy roller coasters, it has five mega roller coasters with various movie themes! However, the only ones that are really worth it are The Swarm and Stealth. Although, it is definitely a place you have to go if you travel with children to London. This park is located in the town of Staines, about half an hour by train from Waterloo station.

Legoland Windsor

This is another interesting park to visit if you travel to London with children. It is divided into various thematic areas and occupies about 60 hectares. In it the little ones will find something for all tastes: pirates, fairies, adventure, kingdom. They will undoubtedly spend an unforgettable day in this London amusement park. It is located on Winkfield Rd, in the town of Windsor, a few kilometers from London.

As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I want As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I wanted to give a shout-out to all the farmers in the local area, especially Brimpton’s own @mbowden1954. One of my favourite aspects of living where we do now is being surrounded by countryside and farm land - and being able to see an actively-farmed field at the end of our garden. Every time something’s being done to the field I’m out with my camera, usually trying to figure out the names of all the machinery - and it’s so nice to see a product being grown right from seed to harvest. I know it’s not easy for farmers at the moment, and I dearly hope ours are able to keep farming for many years to come - so if you have one near you, make sure to show them all the support you can!
