If you don’t live in or around Berkshire, you’ve probably never heard of the village called ‘Christmas Common’, let alone been there. It’s a beautiful little village north of Reading, and is surrounded by places with names like “Beacons Bottom” and “Russell’s Water”. The village is also surrounded by fields and fields of Christmas Trees, and every December they play host to the “The Tree Barn at Christmas Common”.
They have a website, but it doesn’t do it justice – http://adhara.brinkster.net/tree/index.htm. All I’ll say is that a visit to the tree barn (and it’s got WAY more than just trees) has become a firm fixture on our Christmas calendar now. I think this is the fifth year in a row that we’ve been.
