My Year in Photos – December 31st – “The end”

Posted on December 31, 2010February 24, 2011 by Henry Elliss

My Year in Photos – December 31st – "The end", originally uploaded by henweb.

It seems quite fitting that, as I reach the end of this #Project365, “My Year in Photos” quest, I should choose a photo that has been ‘enhanced’ using my new favourite photography secret – the iPhone app Instagram.

I think I’m going to take a break from the MYIP project this year – as fun as it was, I found myself getting a little stressed out by it occassionally, and next year is going to be QUITE a tiring one (more on that shortly). But I’ll still be taking photos – if you’re an iPhone user yourself, download Instagram and look me up for more photo-based fun!

Happy 2011!

I have really enjoyed spending this past year with you and am sad to see it end. I look forward to hopefully many more photos of your little corner of the world in the coming year, even if it’s not every day. Thanks so much for sharing! Happy New Year! ~ Zelda

A few photos from my slightly hair-raising morning A few photos from my slightly hair-raising morning walk. Some lovely sunrises, lots of ice on the canal and a couple of rivers and lakes that were quickly merging together, at the expense of the newly-laid track. At least my wellies stayed strong!

One good thing to come from this week’s rail strikes (and the subsequent week WFH) was my daily sunrise walks - something I really miss when I have to go into London. Fingers crossed that 2023 allows for a few more of them.
