Guest Post – Mercedes E63 AMG: Re-discover Your Pulse

Posted on September 30, 2013January 7, 2018 by Henry Elliss

mercedes-e63-amg-s-modelSo it’s time for a new car. What’s a dad to do?

He can walk the straight and narrow and buy some supposedly practical box with no style, class, or performance…OR he can think out of the box. Look, you are a dad. That doesn’t mean you don’t want a car that looks great, makes you feel good and has a little zip to its step. These are some very good reasons for looking at Mercedes-Benz, and particularly for an E63 AMG for sale.

Not your father’s Mercedes

The first thing you’ll notice from the Mercedes E Class AMG 63 is its aggressive good looks. Its front end is contoured to join sweeping lines that take the eye, and the wind, through the rear deck. The AMG exterior design touches give it a sporty look while maintaining the interior space of a full-size E-Class. Speaking of the interior, the sporty cabin provides superior comfort and almost every amenity. No, this is not your father’s Mercedes. The brand is reaching out to a new generation and the styling of the E63 AMG demonstrates that. It maintains the functionality of a car that you will drive on a day-to-day basis, but one that will transport you and your family in comfort and style.

Practical and Powerful

What young dad doesn’t appreciate a little power and performance in their car? How about an impressive 525 hp (386 kW)? This is a power plant that can get you from zero-to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds even while carrying five people. Yeah, I know, you probably won’t be doing that very often but it is nice to know that kind of power is available. Even with all that power the Mercedes E Class 63 AMG uses about 12% less fuel than its predecessor. This is a vehicle that has successfully combined daily drive-ability with heart pounding performance.

The E63 AMG has plenty of interior room, and a rear cargo space. It provides exceptional comfort even on long trips, and its superb handling will add to your traveling enjoyment.

So Why Not a Mercedes?

When it comes down to it, what dad doesn’t want the best for their family? The Mercedes brand has been built on engineering, craftsmanship and innovation. Just because this Mercedes E63 AMG also is stylish, sexy, exhilarating and has some muscle to flex shouldn’t stop one from overlooking its spaciousness and value, now should it? The fact that Mercedes is ranked 11th on the list of Cool Brands in the U.K. doesn’t hurt either.

Dads have Pulses Too

Just because you’re a dad doesn’t mean you no longer have a pulse. Maybe it’s time to get it revved up again. Even a test drive will get the heart pounding. Go ahead, think out of the box and consider the new Mercedes E 63 AMG. It’s a family car with the soul of a sports car…and it will be good for the soul of any dad.

One good thing to come from this week’s rail strikes (and the subsequent week WFH) was my daily sunrise walks - something I really miss when I have to go into London. Fingers crossed that 2023 allows for a few more of them.
