Fatherhood²: 12 More Lego Creations to Marvel at

Posted on November 3, 2013January 7, 2018 by Henry Elliss

Early last year I put up a post called “Fatherhood²: 15 Photos Every Lego Fan Will Love (Updated)“, containing some of the great Lego models I had seen shared around the web at the time. Well, I thought I’d share some more of my favourites again this year – thanks mainly to some amazing Lego builders who I follow on Flickr.

Some of them will amaze you, some will inspire you, and all will remind you of what a versatile toy Lego is! Enjoy…

Flickr user Vesa Lehtimäki (aka Avanaut) is recreating some of the most famous scenes from the Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies, in both Lego and using other toy figures. Above (and below) are some of his finest work, and you can see more by clicking the image above.

And there’s more…

Brucey Wan creates all kinds of brilliant models with Lego, from movie scenes and famous characters to a full-size replica Lightsaber. Click above to see more of his work.
Flickr user Monster Brick specialises in miniature Lego models, each one containing around a dozen pieces. Click the picture to see more of his creations!
This Amsterdam street is a great example of Patrick Bosman’s work. Click above to see some more of it.
I featured some of Kristina Alexanderson’s work in my last post, and continue to love her Stormtrooper “Father and Son” series on a number of levels. Check out the rest of her creations by clicking the photo above.
This beautifully detailed Lego record shop was created by Flickr user Eldeeem, and is just one of his many recent creations. Take a look at the rest by clicking the image.
Orion Pax creates some amazingly-detailed models of places you know and love, including this great model of the Munster’s Mansion. He also created an AMAZING model of the Ghostbusters HQ, which you can see by clicking the image above.

As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I want As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I wanted to give a shout-out to all the farmers in the local area, especially Brimpton’s own @mbowden1954. One of my favourite aspects of living where we do now is being surrounded by countryside and farm land - and being able to see an actively-farmed field at the end of our garden. Every time something’s being done to the field I’m out with my camera, usually trying to figure out the names of all the machinery - and it’s so nice to see a product being grown right from seed to harvest. I know it’s not easy for farmers at the moment, and I dearly hope ours are able to keep farming for many years to come - so if you have one near you, make sure to show them all the support you can!
