Around this time last year, I ran a competition for some ‘Heroes of the City‘ goodies – a competition which generated quite a lot of interest. And Heroes of the City did the same for my children – they’ve watched the 1 DVD we own of the show NUMEROUS times since then, and still quote it now.
With Heroes of the City not showing on the 1 TV channel they watch (sorry kids – you’ll appreciate my strictness one day!) they have to rely on that DVD to get their fix of Calamity Crow and chums – but not for much longer.
The makers of the show (a small, Swedish company) have gone one-step further than most and created a great YouTube channel for fans – where you can watch full episodes of the show, completely free-for-nothing. We’ve only just started working our way through it, but there’s over 6 hours worth of content on there. That should keep the kids quiet while we watch the Rugby this afternoon…
If your little ones like shows about rescue, adventure and lovable characters, you could do a lot worse than giving Heroes of the City a try – and with all this free content available free online, there’s no excuses really! Take a look at their channel below:
