To celebrate the end of what is probably a momentous year for them, the clever (and very kind) people behind the world-famous ‘Lost My Name‘ books (reviewed on this very blog before they hit the big time!) have created quite an amazing review of 2016.
Rather than go down the traditional (and frankly, fairly boring) route of asking lots of stuffy suits what they think about the world – allowing people to spout big words that they don’t really know the meaning of – they’ve talked to children. 1,000 of them to be precise, from all over the world.
Much like the stuffy suits, they too have often used big words that they don’t know the meaning of – but let’s face it, that particular trait is a lot sweeter when it comes from a 5 year-old!
If you want to take a read of the newspaper they have compiled from the results (I can *highly* recommend it!) you can do so here: The Amazing Fantastic Year in Review.
If I’m yet to convince you of the merits of it, though, I’ve picked out some of my favourites from the paper. Take a look at some of the gems you can expect below…
Trump vs Clinton…
The Royal Baby…
All those selfie sticks…
I shalln’t spoil the whole thing by sharing them all here, but hopefully that will have convinced you to go and take a look. You won’t regret it!
