Guest Post – Does Beacon Resources Work to Find Talent Locally? Or Nationally?

Posted on May 14, 2017January 7, 2018 by Henry Elliss

One of the biggest questions that finance recruiters face is whether they work locally or nationally when they are searching for talent for their customers. It’s an important question, just as important as the question of whether or not they will place local talent with national customers. Since customers that are looking for recruiters tend to ask both, it makes sense to tackle both at once.

Our Goals and Approach

We have offices and markets in both northern and southern California, and generally our goal is to provide local talent to local employers in those markets. When there is a specific demand for talent that goes outside those markets, we do have resources available to help find the talent you need. That can be done by looking for candidates willing to relocate from other California markets or by working with our parent company to provide national services where they are available.

What About National Employers Seeking California Talent?

For employers looking to develop operations in California or to add to existing operations here, our team is not only ready to help, but prepared to deliver everything you need. For employers looking to recruit talent from California markets for jobs elsewhere nationally, our parent company the DLC Group is more likely to be able to help.

California Jobs We Fill

Whether you are looking to hire a permanent staff member or to fill an interim position, we are able to help with:

  • Accounting recruiters for a variety of jobs, including senior and staff accountants and tax accountants.
  • Finance recruiters for financial analyst and financial management jobs
  • Help recruiting talent for top management positions, including accounting manager and CFO
  • Payroll specialists and other experienced financial professionals

We work to find the talent that is already here, and to fit them to the opportunities available from our clients. That way, Beacon Resources can be the connection between the best talent in the industry and the best places to work in the state. Contact us today for more information.

One good thing to come from this week’s rail strikes (and the subsequent week WFH) was my daily sunrise walks - something I really miss when I have to go into London. Fingers crossed that 2023 allows for a few more of them.
