The first day of my 10-day holiday started with a bit of a quandary – namely, what to do! As my wife will tell you, I very rarely make plans the night before (as would be sensible), instead choosing to get up and decide where the mood is taking me. Unfortunately, this isn’t really a very good system when you have an under-2 year-old to factor in to the equation, especially when you have to factor in some nap-time.
My first choice was going to be a day-out in Windsor, including a trip to the castle, but that got the kibosh when we discovered the castle was closed. So a hasty re-arrangement was in order, at which point we opted to head over to Swindon to visit the designer outlet village. A decision which actually worked out to be quite wise, as it proceeded to chuck it down all day – so being under-cover turned out to be a blessing!
Today’s photo was taken whilst Robert and I were trying to amuse ourself in Next, while Sara browsed through the racks of clothing…
