Today I was up in Birmingham, visiting a client and kicking-off a new campaign. Rather than take the train, I opted to drive up to the midlands instead – you get less work done, but I tend to feel a lot fresher when I get there, for some odd reason.
My sat nav felt the need to take me along a lot of A-roads for some reason, which I’d initially assumed would take a lot longer. But the biggest benefits of A-roads was soon to reveal itself to me – parking spots every few hundred meters! These made for very useful stopping points for me to check my e-mails and make a few phonecalls – something which you tend to need to do quite a bit on a work trip!
