As seems to be the tradition here in the UK, the first May bank holiday was a complete wash-out – small intervals of sun were penetrated by rain, wind and even hail. The man on the radio said we should expect a FROST tonight. So not really a great day for spending time in the garden… Despite that, Sara and Robert took advantage of a gap in the rain to do some seed planting and re-potting, which I viewed from the safety of Robert’s room, while myself doing the hoovering. Yes, our day really was that exciting! :)
