Tonight was the night of the long-awaited and much prepared-for Tamar 15th Birthday party, which he held in a very snazzy room at the Tate Modern. The view you can see in today’s photo is the view we had from the room – looking out over the Thames to St Paul’s. It looks pretty stunning in the daylight, but as soon as the sun went down it took on an even cooler look. I particularly liked this photo (as opposed to others with less relfection) because the reflections from inside the room give the view an other-worldly feel – it looks like a large planet floating over St Paul’s, and the pink light on the left of the photo look slightly Aurora-like.
