Today was such a beautiful day, even when I got home at 7pm we were able to eat dinner in our garden – a rare treat, though hopefully something we can do more of over the summer. I took today’s photo during said meal, and it’s of one of the few plants in our garden that we’ve managed to not kill over the past 5 years – namely a Clematis. Every winter it dies back to a twig, but every spring it comes right back to what you can see – everything else that turns in to a twig pretty-much stays that way…!
