Next weekend (Sunday the 11th of May, to be precise) the ‘Hoo’s Kids Book Festival’ is taking place just outside London – and to celebrate, I’ve been given a great prize to offer up to you guys.
If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ll know how close children’s literacy is to my heart – so when I was asked if I wanted to get involved, I jumped at the chance!
If you’ve not been to the Hoo’s Kids Book Fest before, it’s an event unlike any other. Aimed at those of us with children (of all ages!) who love reading, the festival features a wealth of book-related activities.
Not only do they have appearances from an absolute tonne of authors and illustrators (take a look at the list here), they also put on a load of great events, competitions, activities and workshops.
The organisers have kindly offered up 1 family entrance ticket (4 tickets – minimum one adult) to give away PLUS an exclusive extra to sweeten the pot: the chance to meet Steve Antony, author of The Queen’s Hat!
The lucky winner will also receive a signed copy of The Queen’s Hat and tickets to his event during the festival.
If you would like to win this exclusive prize, just enter your details in the form below, following the instructions and paying close attention to the terms.
The giveaway closes at 5pm on May 7th 2014 and the winner will be notified by email.
