The 3 lessons all parents should learn from the ‘Momo’ challenge

Posted on March 7, 2019April 16, 2019 by Henry Elliss

Unless you’ve been extremely lucky over the past month, you will no doubt be very familiar with the ‘Momo challenge’ by now. Dear Hollywood – stop treating bloggers like idiots

Posted on June 4, 2015January 7, 2018 by Henry Elliss

As you’ve probably guessed from the title, I’m about to have a rant. And not just a “Henry woke up on the wrong side of the bed” type of rant – this is one of those rants that is likely to get me blacklisted by just about every entertainment brand out there, forever highlighted in…

I recently did a small piece-to-camera (can you still call it that when I wasn’t actually looking at the camera? Hmm) for the IAB, as part of a series of videos they are doing with various Social Media council members. I chose to talk about blogging, and if you’d like to see what I said…

Social media – time for a rant!

Posted on March 4, 2010June 4, 2018 by Henry Elliss

This is going to be short and certainly not at all sweet. First up – a caveat: The following is the opinion of this blog’s author and him alone, not the company he works for. Hence why I’m posting it on my personal blog… I know that working in social media means I should be…

My 5 relatively-boring (online) aims for 2010

Posted on December 31, 2009June 4, 2018 by Henry Elliss

As I’ve just discovered that I can post blogs from my Blackberry, I thought I’d take this opportunity (I.e. A very dull train journey to work) to jot down some of my online aims for 2010. I know what you’re thinking – dull, Dull, DULL! I think the same every time I spot a “10…

As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I want As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I wanted to give a shout-out to all the farmers in the local area, especially Brimpton’s own @mbowden1954. One of my favourite aspects of living where we do now is being surrounded by countryside and farm land - and being able to see an actively-farmed field at the end of our garden. Every time something’s being done to the field I’m out with my camera, usually trying to figure out the names of all the machinery - and it’s so nice to see a product being grown right from seed to harvest.
