As most of you will also know, birthday’s tend to become much less exiting occasions when a) you’re older and b) you have…

My Year in Photos – September 29th – "Another ones hits the jackpot", originally uploaded by henweb. My Year in Photos – September 28th – "The balloon magnet tree", originally uploaded by henweb. I think today’s photo marks the third – possibly fourth – time this year when I have spotted balloons trapped in this tree or one of the ones near it. I’m beginning to wonder what makes people let go…

My Year in Photos – September 26th – "Quad-Rob", originally uploaded by henweb. We spent our Sunday in Hereford at my cousin Mark’s house – as we had been the day before too. A generally lazy day included a wander down to their orchard to raid the apple trees – helped out by Mark’s quad…

My Year in Photos – September 25th – "National TRUST – a first!", originally uploaded by henweb. Sara and I were AMAZED today – whilst looking round the National Trust property Berrington Hall – as the staff were very… trusting. Usually, walking round a National Trust property with a toddler is a recipe for disaster…

As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I want As today is ‘Back British Farming’ day, I wanted to give a shout-out to all the farmers in the local area, especially Brimpton’s own @mbowden1954. One of my favourite aspects of living where we do now is being surrounded by countryside and farm land - and being able to see an actively-farmed field at the end of our garden.
